Father's Day/ Birthday Grill out

We were able to get together w/ my family, the Schimmel's, and Holtz's and celebrate Father's Day and all the summer birthdays. We had a great time, we grilled burgers and hotdogs, had cake'n ice cream, and the kids played and played.

Water Park/Hotel

We were able to get away for a weekend w/ the kids to the Grand Rios Waterpark. We all had a great time. Jaxon and Josie weren't real sure always of everything but over all it was a lot of fun.

Jaxon's 2nd Birthday

theme. I had such fun making this cake for him.

My 28th Birthday

Well, it's offficial, I am now 28 years old. I can't believe I am so close to my 30's, not that that's a bad place to be, I just can't believe how fast life goes. I had a great birthday and also Jesse and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. He and I were able to get away and do dinner and shopping (I loved that part the best), we also were able to go to the movies together, it was a great blessed day. My father in law knows how much I love chocolate cake and he baked me a very yummy chocolate cake w/ 28 candles.

Jaydn's Dance Recital

Jaydn had her tap dance recital end of May. They danced to a song from the movie "Beetlejuice". Jaydn had a fun first year of dance and will be starting dance in Dassel this next fall at Dance Style. She's enjoyed the dress up and makeup I think the best.

Easter projects

Today was a fun day. We started the morning out by
reading from the book of Matthew. I read to them about
the betrayal of Judas, the crucifiction, and how He rose
on the 3rd day. Then we did some Easter crafts. Jaydn
was responsible for making the cross with Jesus on it. Josie
was in charge of the crown of thorns, and I took care of
the nails. It really tied everything together and they were
able to physically see what the story was talking about. We
then did good old Easter bunnies. We all had a lot of fun and
Jaxon had a lot of bad gas, ha, ha.

Here are our new baby chicks. The kids are really enjoying them! Jaydn is really loving them and taking care of them. I wonder if she'd have as much fun cleaning out the box?? Jaxon isn't quite sure. He likes to see them but not touch them. He's getting closer though.

Ladies Night

" Oh this is Ladie's Night", oh, yes we had ladie's night at our church and the whole thing was put on from some of our husbands and men of the church. It was such a fun evening. Jesse, the hottie w/ the long hair (wig) and shades was in the band "The Cameleons". It was so hilarious!! They all had wigs and sang a varitey of songs to all of us. The night consisted of valet parking, escorting us to our banquet, catered food, and the show of singing, skits, and games. We were blessed.

Here I am giving Jaxon his first hair cut. Wasn't real sure how he'd sit. I ended
up giving him a snack and he did such a great job, both eating and sitting.
It turned out so cute, he was starting to get a little mullet, and mommy can't
have that!
